DEBATE SANS SCOTUS | CPP Gets Its Day In Court | One Man’s Boring, Is Another Woman’s SCOTUS

|There was a little debate last night, a tête-à-tête if you will, in which two folks running for President of the United States talked shop. After more than ninety minutes of debate though, the Supreme Court wasn’t mentioned once. As of today, it’s been 195 days since the nomination of JUDGE MERRICK GARLAND.
TODAY'S THE DAY
|The D.C. federal appeals court began oral arguments today over the Clean Power Plan which aims to reduce carbon dioxide emissions. Earlier this year, the Supreme Court delayed implementation of the CPP until the legal challenges are resolved. However, recent reports revealed that of the 27 states who are challenging these regulations, most are on track to meet the emissions targets set by the CPP.
